Story

Music Educator & Social Media Coodinator
Introduction
I teach private music lessons in-person in the San Diego area and online via Skype and Google Hangouts. I also play bass with the Coronado Big Band. I'm available for freelance opportunities as a bassist and social media consultant.

I have my own domain and have been involved in the music education online professional development community since September 2009. I co-founded Leading Notes in December 2010.

I am a Michigan native and, after some detours studying abroad in London, going to grad school in New York, and teaching middle school in Minnesota, I settled in California in 2012. In college, I studied Music & Psychology, concentrating primarily on bass guitar and upright bass. In grad school, I earned a Masters of Education in Music Education and developed an interest in Communications, Computing, and Technology in Education.
