Went on Halloween for an all-night ghost hunt and had a fantastic experience. Our guide Paul was knowledgeable, laid-back, and told us all kinds of good stories about the TALA. We spent about an hour to an hour and a half on each floor and we could do our own thing, which was fun. At certain times, we hung with Paul and got the benefit of his equipment, and other times we went on our own to the hot spots Paul showed us. I can't say that anything we heard or found was definitely paranormal, but it was still an amazing time exploring the building at night, learning about everything that happened there, and doing our ghost hunt. Worth every penny and can't wait to go back.

Was at Revel for a wedding and it was one of the best hotel and gambling experiences I have had. The rooms are beautiful, I had a single-King, and it was the most luxurious room I've ever stayed in. I'm a novice traveler and haven't been to Vegas, but what else could you want in a room? The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, the amenities were top-notch, and the bathroom was enormous, with a huge shower area. I had the pleasure of gambling there as well and the casino area was easy to navigate, brand new, and fun. Having been to Atlantic City quite a few times, I'm glad Revel is there because that's where I'll be staying from now on. Do yourself a favor and stay at Revel when you go to AC, it's close enough to everything to enjoy but far enough away that you can get away from the hustle and bustle.

Went to Nadolski's for the first time on a Sunday (only butcher in the Richmond-Metro Area open) not looking for anything in particular. It was absolutely fabulous. Wide selection, excellent prices, incredibly polite staff. I ended up purchasing a pound Hanger Steak, half-pound of in-house made smoked bacon, and two Cajun sausages - and it was less expensive than any meat market or big grocer anywhere in Richmond. Not to mention that Nadolski's products are selected from LOCAL farmers that do a wonderful job of keeping free-range, well-fed, well-treated animals. I will definitely be back to Nadolski's - it's a short, beautiful drive from downtown Richmond and it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and give Nadolski's a try like I did, you'll find the prices are great and the food is even better.

Traveled to Seattle with a Vegan work colleague (I eat everything) and ate here for lunch – it was fantastic! The server was terrific, gave us ample time to make our selections, helped us with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the Sesame Cha Cha and seriously, I would’ve never known I was eating Vegan food. It had great flavor and texture, and tasted as good as any other beef dish I’ve had at countless Asian restaurants. The entire menu is Vegan and offers a myriad of dishes to satisfy any taste or craving. Honestly, I won’t be switching my lifestyle to Vegan, but if I’m ever back in Seattle I will absolutely go to Loving Hut again. Do yourself a favor and try this wonderful restaurant – Vegan or not, you won’t regret it.

Favorite place to hang out, relax, and enjoy great food and drinks. Great for smokers and non-smokers alike. I don't like smoky places and the air system filters everything out so you barely notice that it's a smoking establishment. The ambiance and environment is all class and the couches/chairs are comfortable and well-placed so that TV's can be seen anywhere. I love the cigar selection - I'm a novice cigar smoker and there is something in there for any and everyone. Do yourself a favor and go to Mona when you want to relax - it's the best place in Richmond to just take it easy.

This was my first trip to Seattle (I came for business) and my employer chose Alexis Hotel for lodging for the week. Smart move! Alexis Hotel is a beautiful hotel with amenities and luxuries that would rival any other that I’ve stayed in. The hotel is very pet-friendly, to the point that there are treats in the lobby. The staff (especially front desk) was courteous, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. The décor of each room is a bit different, with four-post beds to beautiful bathrooms, there’s no shortage of creativity with the room decorations. The only gripes I have are the chintzy leopard print robes in the closets are apparently made from sandpaper and the overly expensive mini-bar. Three dollars for a can of Pepsi and four dollars for a four-pack of Oreos is criminal, delightful though Oreos may be. There are enough pharmacies/drug stores in walking distance that you’ll never need to use the mini-bar though. Finally – they have a daily “Wine Hour” that serves up fantastic complementary glasses of wine in the lobby. Also, The Bookstore hotel bar located just inside the front entrance is the best bar I found in Seattle - great food, great happy hour, great bartenders. Alexis Hotel will definitely be my choice when I get back to Seattle – if you want affordable luxury, do yourself a favor and stay here.

Bookstore is the bar at Alexis Hotel and is a great place to enjoy an after-work drink and a few minutes to recharge after a tough day. The bar is small but accommodating and has fantastic Happy Hour Specials. They have one of the best bourbon and Scotch collections I’ve ever seen at any bar and the food is also excellent (try the clam chowder) and very well priced. As an out-of-towner in Seattle on business, the bartenders and servers were more than happy to give recommendations on local hot spots, dining, and things to do. If you’re ever in Seattle for any reason, do yourself a favor and have a drink here, I’m positive you won’t regret it, and you’ll learn very quickly why this bar is among the best.
