Can't for this to hit my phone!

Hangouts 2.1 for Android: SMS improvements and a homescreen widget

Today we’re launching the newest version of Hangouts for Android, rolling out to the Play store (http://goo.gl/6Sv8V) over the next few days. Highlights include:

- Merged conversations: SMS and Hangout conversations with the same recipient are now combined into a single conversation. You can control whether you want to send a message via Hangouts or SMS with the flip of a switch, and different message types will be easy to tell apart in the conversation. Of course, you can always merge and unmerge conversations if you’d like.

- Simplified contact list: now there’s two main sections in contacts — People you Hangout With, and Phone Contacts — making it simpler to navigate, and easier to use for SMS.

- Homescreen widget: add the Hangouts widget to your homescreen for quick access to your recent conversations.

- Performance improvements: today’s update includes better quality video calls, as well as improved SMS and MMS reliability.

The new version will be available in the Play store (http://goo.gl/6Sv8V) this week, so download or update and let us know what you think!

I think it's pretty much the gaming community itself that make it harder for people like yourself to enlighten others about different options. There was time when we could talk about different gaming platforms and trade info with each other about the pro and cons of each platform. Now days, they're so many fanboys bashing others and boasting about what they got that a simple harmless comment can taken the wrong way.

Congratulations to the Ultimate Warrior being inducted into the Hall of Fame! Glad I had a chance to meet him at the GameStop Expo last year. Obviously, he was promoting WWE 2K14 before it released, and of course, I had to buy it.

I'm glad Phil Spencer is coming back to that, because it was one of the reasons I continue to play the 360 and not buy a XB1. Unlike the 360, the XB1 was advertised as an all-in-one entertainment system, not a gaming console like 360 and the PS4. That right there made me uneasy about buying one, because I didn't want to buy a gaming console if it's core focus wasn't on gaming. Since Phil looks like he has good head on his shoulders and can turn the Xbox brand back around to it's roots, I'm looking foward to buying a XB1.

I get what you are saying to a certain extent. For me its more about the games. I will eventually get all three consoles, I am just waiting for Sony to provide more games that takes advantage of its powerful hardware, right now we only got Killzone and Infamous.

Technically, this wasn't a lie. It was misunderstood just like the Xbox dedicated servers. They said there were no DRM on disc-based games. They didn't say they would have a stricter DRM on digital games, but the question in defense is did he do the verification on his PS4 to allow his games and video content to be played offline on that particular console before he did that video? Because Sony added that restriction about 3 or 4 years to prevent users to download games from ones account and to be playable on someone else PS3 without ever needing to sign in again. That was back when PSN users could download a game 5 times before they had to purchase them again. I had to that verification on my Vita and PS3 in order to play my games digital games offline.

Also in defense for Killer Instinct, I think people forget to realize (I did too) that KI is still a F2P game, and what does all Free-To-Play games need to play the game? Internet Connection. Loadout, Plantside 2, Tekken Revolution, Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Only, all those F2P games need internet to play, so Killer Instinct is no different.

I'm going to put this out there now. If you add me to your circle  and I don't know you or met you through a page or community, don't expect me to add you back. I don't add anybody I don't know. With that being said, don't be surprised if you get blocked, because that's what I do to a lot strangers that add me. If you want me to add you back, send me a message why you are interested in adding me.

Thank you and have a good day.

This hotel is the most relaxing and entertaining hotel I ever stayed in. With a club, bar, restaurant, and a pool room, this hotel is very social friendly. The scene is amazing, and at the same time, the rooms are relaxing. The rooms are even gadget friendly for those who like connecting their electronics to the TV. Even though the area around the hotel is a little tight, it's still a great spot to walk through. I would definitely stay here again.
