The more I thought about Mark Nepo's images of Moses and Hamlet, the more I realized that both are unwelcome in factory-model structures.  To oversimplify, Moses represents acting and Hamlet represents waiting ... but if you actually act or wait in a factory-model school, somebody will probably "get upset" and possibly even "say something."

What's up with that?  And why did it take leaving such structures for me to notice?
