Formerly El Campesino, Don Pollo is El Camp with a new name, new menu, and redecorated interior. The atmosphere is a confusing hodgepodge of Spanish, Hipster-Grunge. A combination of jazz, Spanish, and rap music plays for diners. The revamped menu is a headache as well. Old favorites such as nachos, fajitas, tacos are joined by pasta dishes, meatloaf, and cafe-style sandwiches. And prices have increased to cover this new style. Expect to pay extra for the grilled veggies that used to be included in nachos. Overall, Don Pollo tries too hard to be too many things.
Should ever be forgot.
