Hey everyone.  My friend +David Lake is in the top 5 Doritos super bowl competition.  You can vote once per day per device.  For most of us here that's 2 or three votes a day.  If he wins he'll have the opportunity to work on set for the avengers 2.  Everyone vote for him.  Vote "Office Thief"

Come learn about AngularJS and Firebase!
Justin McMurdie originally shared:

Come learn about one of the coolest things happening in the web since jQuery. +Justin McMurdie  (AngularJS Developer) will be presenting an introduction to +AngularJS, a framework for the frontend of the web (presentation forked from +Kent C. Dodds).

If you're looking for a feather in your cap that will make you stand out from your peers, AngularJS is one of the greatest ways to do it. Please respond to this Google+ Event so we can get an accurate count for food

There will be food! This event is sponsored by +Firebase . They'll be providing dinner and Firebase stickers. Big thanks to them for sponsoring this event. See you there!

We'll be starting the event officially at 7:00 PM. But from 6:00-6:45 we'll be getting your system setup for the demo. If you can please follow the setup steps below beforehand (will be added soon).

There is going to be a lot to learn and we won't have time to setup machines during the presentation.

What you'll learn:
1. Templates/Expressions - Your DOM structure
2. Module - Your app's namespace
3. Directives - How you talk to the DOM
4. Filters - Utilities for what's displayed to the user
5. Scope - how it works.
6. Controllers - The scope initializer
7. Services - Common utilities
8. Working with third-party modules
9. Grand finale! Firebase & AngularFire - Going from two way binding, to three way binding. A full web application with no server setup required!

+James Stewart and I will be giving a presentation on some basic d3js concepts and help you create your first 2 visualizations.

http://d3js.org/

We recommend you install a way to start a local http server, for the demonstration we'll use python. http://www.python.org/

You'll need a text editor to build your own visualizations, we'll be using sublime text http://www.sublimetext.com/

I'm adding a Google Plus Hangouts on Air livestream:

The fastest Cafe Rio I've ever seen. It probably has something to do with the Universities but this Cafe Rio is fast. Food is excellent, even though the employees are fast it's very popular so it may still take a few minutes to get your food.

Great splash pad, and solid Farmers market Saturday mornings during the summer. Park shape isn't great for playing sports.

I've been twice. The first time it tasted good but I wasn't sure how much to order so we left slightly hungry. The second time was fantastic, the atmosphere was such that we chatted with the couple next to us and ended up trading different bits of our meals. The serving staff was friendly and helpful in letting me know how much to order It ended up being about less per person than I expected. I wasn't personally a fan of the salmon hush puppies, but everything else I tried was excellent

We decided to try this place after reading the positive reviews, I was deeply disappointed with the food. The bread was fine but everything tasted store bought. The pasta sampler was gross, the red sauce reminded me forcibly of spaghetti-o's, the white sauce was bland. My wife had two bites and couldn't eat any more. I had a combination pizza, it was good enough that I didn't raise a fuss about the food with management as we were on a date. Maybe we had bad luck with what we ordered, or just didn't pick the right items on the menu. We're probably not going back anytime soon.
