Back in 2007 I was lucky enough to spend 3 months traveling through Mexico. I arrived in Ocean Beach, San Diego, on my own with a van that had been converted to sleep a few people in the back.

I soon made a few friends who then joined me as we drove across the border into Tijuana and made our way down into Baja California. After a few weeks we crossed over to the mainland and began our trip towards Tulum, covering most of the Mayan sites along the way.

It was a magical journey, and the spirit and pride the Mexican people we met shone their culture and history in a bright light. During our travels we came across many Sugar Skulls which became my favourite decoration.

In this series of notebooks we celebrate the Day of the Dead in particular, but this is my celebration of the time that I spent in a wonderful country with wonderful people.

If you're embarking on a journey, make sure that you have a notebook with you to write down your thoughts and experiences, they'll be priceless for you in the years that follow to look back upon.

You can pick up a set of these notebooks https://backpocket.co/products/day-of-the-dead-colour-skulls

This site is a great little portfolio site that has a really interesting grid stucture.

The site uses http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/css/reset/ to reset a few items cross browser (I wonder if we’ll ever get to a time when we don’t need this).

If you're having trouble with <iframe>, <frame>, or <object> loading your content then this could be why...
If your <iframe> isn't loading, I think I might know why.

This article looks at a way that we can overcome the issue with HTTP/2 when it comes to PUSHing assets that might already be in the cache and thus be using up bandwidth that isn't required.
