To stay innovative and be able to run experiments, it is important that the value for customers and other stakeholders is continuously tested and validated in a safe-to-fail environment.

It's tempting to sit in the corner and then, voila, to amaze us all with your perfect answer. But of course, that's not what ever works. What works is evolving in public, with the team. Showing your work. Thinking out...

Where's my wall? ... Benefits Gone Wild | @Forbes http://www.forbes.com/sites/edwardlawler/2016/03/17/benefits-gone-wild/
Corporation after corporation is adding benefits and perks to their employee reward packages. There was a time when there was a standard list of benefits and forms of cash compensation that most companies used. Today, things have changed. Thanks in part to the “creativity” of Silicon Valley firms, there is [...]

Shared experiences... What Eating Chocolate Can Teach You About Customer Service | @Forbes @micahsolomon http://www.forbes.com/sites/micahsolomon/2016/03/13/what-eating-chocolate-can-teach-you-about-customer-service-and-building-a-great-customer-experience/
Researchers at Yale, using chocolate as their study material (I bet a bit of that disappeared from storeroom shelves from time to time), recently concluded that chocolate tastes best when two or more people are eating it together. When the study’s participants (an easy position to fill, I'm guessing) tasted [...]

Interesting as I was under the impression that public individual recognition can cause problems.

The final warning seems to be the most problematic for me as it assumes there are effective and mostly accurate metrics in place to determine who gets the recognition. If not, wouldn't it come down to gut feel and possible conjecture?

Creative Networker (writer, speaker, entrepreneur, illustrator, manager, blogger, reader, dreamer, leader, freethinker, and… Dutch guy.)
Introduction

Jurgen Appelo is pioneering management to help creative organizations survive and thrive in the 21st century. He offers concrete games, tools, and practices, so you can introduce better management, with fewer managers.

Jurgen calls himself a creative networker. But sometimes he’s a writer, speaker, trainer, entrepreneur, illustrator, manager, blogger, reader, dreamer, leader, freethinker, or… Dutch guy. Inc.com has called him a Top 50 Leadership Expert and aTop 100 Great Leadership Speaker. Since 2008, Jurgen writes a popular blog atNOOP.NL, offering ideas on the creative economy, agile management, organizational change, and personal development. He is the author of the book Management 3.0, which describes the role of the manager in agile organizations. And he wrote the little book How to Change the World, which describes a supermodel for change management. His most recent book is called #Workout, which offers you practical ideas to engage workers, improve work, and delight clients.

Jurgen can help you upgrade your enterprise with more engagement and faster results; He can show you how to become an agile business with better software; He shows you how to creatively manage your company; And he can inspire professionals with a purpose, advocating work-life integration for creative people. Jurgen is CEO of the business network Happy Melly, and co-founder of the Agile Lean Europe network and the Stoos Network. He is also a speaker who is regularly invited to talk at business seminars and conferences around the world.

The cafe latte was terrible. They use a small, cheap machine to make their coffee. Also, the service was unfriendly. I will not come back here.
