Happy Take Two Tuesday! With Thanksgiving just a few days away, we wanted to do a Thanksgiving themed Take Two. We took Sweet Potato with Torched Marshmallows and Whiskey Pecan and placed them side by side. These two delicious flavors from +Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is a great idea for dessert after a Thanksgiving feast! Happy Thanksgiving from the Jungle!

This place is awesome. I can literally spend three hours in here. I live in Indy and visit at least twice a year. It's great to load up on rare goodies and take them back home. Also, the cheese, alcohol, produce and hot sauce selection is unmatched. It's as if this store is a grocery store and theme park for adults. If you've never been and the drive would take 3 hours or less, you need to go.

Whether you want wine, beer or a food you won't find anywhere else, Jungle Jim's is the place to go. Prices are reasonable and if you can't find it here it probably is not sold in the United States. Very knowledgeable wine department, outstanding produce, extensive bakery and every hot sauce made.

Love love love Jungle Jim's. There are many times that my wife and I make special trips just to Cinncy so that we can go. We always make a point to get at least five things that you can't get anywhere else. FANTASTIC! Put one in Lexington KY!!! We are begging for a large international store here!!!

Thanks for visiting Aaron! We are glad you enjoyed your visit and shared your experience. At the moment, we do not have plans for a third location but if that does happen, we will consider Lexington. Thanks!

Terrible customer service I rarely go to jungle Jim's from the west side of Cincinnati (20 minute drive), I go there when I'm looking for some good quality steak because they are about the only place I can find with a prime selection. We recently went there and walked to the meat counter and were poorly greeted by the worker, we asked for 2 prime rib eyes about 3/4 pounds each. The guy pulled out 2 ribeyes put them on the scale and packaged them. 19.99/lb, came to $38, do the math, what butcher doesn't know that 3/4lb = 0.75 oz, my girlfriend said, we asked for 2 steaks 3/4 lb, the guy says "they all way the same". Looked and saw some that were definitely smaller but he didn't want to have to look, he was sure they all weighed the same. He said, " what do you want me to do" I said , "just give me the steaks, thanks for the quality experience" the guy had the personality of a dirty dish rag. Long story long, grilled the steaks when I got home, they were terrible, prime my ass, tasted like the choice I get at meijer, ripoff of an experience, will never go back as this was the 5th bad experience I've had at jungle Jim's, seriously what is the draw to the place, seems like a big gimmick that pretentious people can brag to their friends that they shop there. Pathetic

This place has been described as "an amusement park for food" and after several visits, I can't think of a better way to describe it. You want butter? You better be ready to shop a selection like you're buying a new car. You want potatoes? Well, there is a much bigger variety of spuds here than most stores have in all produce combined. In short, I'm just repeating what everyone else is saying... selection, selection, selection. If you can eat it, it's here. When I first walked in, the place didn't seem as big as I thought. Well, each time I turned a corner, there was more and more food... it kept going and going and going. It is certainly the largest grocery market that I have ever visited. The "amusement park" comment stems from all the cool, eclectic themes and displays hanging above or hiding behind each corner turned. Kitchen note: There is a kitchen area here full of cookware, bake ware, gadgets, and all sorts of related items. It's enough to rival a dedicated kitchen store. International note: I don't think there is another store in this country where I could be under one roof and have access to so much food from so many different countries. Where some stores may have an "international aisle," JJ's has whole sections dedicated to about a dozen popular countries. Summary: If visiting Cincy with time to spare, this place is a must-do. Heck, even if you don't have time to spare, try to work it in.
