Today is National Tortilla Chip day. For some of us, every day might be Tortilla Chip day, though. Here are some truly fascinating facts about this crispy, crunchy chip that's also one of our favorite things here at the Jungle. Actually, among the dozens and dozens of varieties on the floor, it's hard for us to come up with just one favorite out of them all! What's your favorite tortilla chip?

Ugly, maybe. Delicious? Absolutely. We have an entire section dedicated to marked down fruits and vegetables (and maybe some cheese and a few other things) that might be a little on the beat up side, but are just as tasty and nutritious as their prettier counterparts found throughout the Produce and International Produce Departments. Located next to the Produce Departments of both our locations, we encourage you to come check things out… Product changes every day, so you know never know what you’ll find!

Want to find out more about the so-called Ugly Food movement? Here’s another article to shed some light on what we’ve been doing here for years: http://goo.gl/xBEljl
As much as a third of the produce grown on some farms is rejected because it doesn't meet beauty standards. But it's still tasty and healthy. One big firm is now telling growers: Give us your uglies.

The Big Cheese Festival is a whirlwind weekend devoted to all things cheese. Starting with our selection of over 1,400 cheeses at the Jungle Jim’s Cheese Shop, and branching out to all the olives, meats, and appetizers we can gather, we’re paying tribute to one of our favorite foods! We’ll have family friendly activities throughout both days, and beer and wine will be available for those 21 and over. There’s a lot to sample, a lot to share, and a whole lot more where that came from.

LOVE this place! If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist. Always friendly staff and their prices are so reasonable. Love coming here when I'm in town!

Guys place is a lot of fun, which I realize is a strange thing to say about a grocery store. But it really is. They have put a lot of detail into the decorations and displays, and you can find just about any food. The prices really aren't bad either. Go in on a Saturday, preferable in the morning or early afternoon to take advantage of samples. There are lots of sections from all different parts of the world, so if you like trying something new, you can find lots of options here. I was even able to find bottles of a particular soda that I live that's usually only found in my home state out West. Kids love this place, and you could spend hours looking through the different sections. Highly recommended.

Must be seen to be believed! Set aside a couple of hours for your first visit as you will need that time to stroll through the designated country aisles - from Thailand to Morocco, Mexico to Great Britain. There are hundreds of exotic fruits and vegetables and cheeses from all over the world. Plus, a beer and wine tasting bar!

Best place to go for unique foods. Their selection it's great. Huge varieties of jam and jelly, honey, jerky, hot sauce, beer, sweets, coffee, pop, etc. International food selection was great and I was able to find what I was looking for and then some.

The best grocery by a large margin, this place is the best if you can't find a specific food. They have sections organized by country to make it easy to find the items you need. Their beer selection is unrivaled as they carry tons of local brews from Cincinnati and other cities, also organized by area (like California, Midwest, Colorado, etc.). They host weekly pint nights every Friday featuring craft breweries and if you get there early enough, you get to keep the glass. They are always hosting yearly cheese and beer festivals while also coming up with new event every year. This place rocks!

They have everything!! It might be a little expensive at times, but that's because it's imported. They even had a type of older candy my dad had been looking for for the past few years. The store is huge and they have a wonderful selection for each country/style of food. Not a huge fan of alcoholic beverages, but I can indeed appreciate their wide selection of craft beers, etc. Favorite part was the fact that they had Dairy Free ice cream. Yes, a pint was $6.99. Yes, I came from out of town and hadn't planned on buying anything cold so I didn't have a cooler in which to take it home. Yes, I also had to buy a box of spoons to eat it immediately. Yes, my friend and I had to eat the entire pint in one sitting. YES, IT WAS WORTH IT. Jungle Jim's is 100% on my list of places to stop by every single time I'm in Cincinnati.

This place is not a grocery store. It's an experience. Food from all over the world. They raise their own fish. Every associate I approached was extremely helpful and being it's four acres that's important!! They really knocked it out of the park.
