Borewells dug by people to supply water to their homes is probably something that only happens in Indian cities and towns.

The unfortunate thing is people with borewells in their homes often don't realize how precious a resource water is, and the importance of conserving it.

When +Sourav Roy and +*** ganged up and insisted I write something for Social Story, I agreed at first like the enthucut I am and then realised I had no clue what I wanted to write about. But then I had to look no further than my water sump at home to be reminded on what I think needs to be done to Save Bengaluru.
Most often when relatives visit and they offer to help in washing up, I try and ensure that they don’t, because I fear they will waste water.

#reusablerockets

I have been watching a few of Elon Musk's interviews he gave in China, and I'm so impressed with how he has gone about doing what he has done so far.
Paypal, Tesla, SpaceX... he thinks out of the box.

Until I watched his interview I didn't realize the importance of reusable rockets for space exploration.
If this SpaceX attempt is successful it will certainly be a dawn of a new age.

Good luck +SpaceX
Tomorrow at 6:20 a.m Eastern Time, SpaceX will attempt for the very first time to land the booster stage of its Falcon rocket on a floating platform. The rocket will be transporting supplies to the International Space Station, but more importantly, if this attempt to land the booster stage is ...

The Sun is traveling at 782,000 km/hr,orbiting the Milky Way and Earth is traveling at 108,000 km/hr around the Sun.

How does Earth keep up with the Sun?
Is it just the Sun's gravitational pull?
If that was the case wouldn't Earth be dragging behind the Sun?
Or is earth actually traveling at 782,000+108,000 km/hr?
Sometimes science can be mind boggling
Everything's orbiting something it seems. The Moon goes around the Earth, and the Earth orbits the Sun. But did you know that the Sun orbits the Milky Way galaxy? Astronomers have calculated that it takes the Sun 226 million years to completely orbit around the center of the Milky Way. In other words, that last…

+Andaleeb Wajid's next book from the #TheTamannaTrilogy is all set to launch.

I love these trailers... How the writing world has changed.
I am trying to imagine how Shakespeare might have made such a video for Romeo and Juliet, if he had been a contemporary writer 😀

Here's the teaser for Book 2 of #TheTamannaTrilogy  Take a look! Show some love in the comments! :-)

Being 17... seems like ages, though I am not that old.
But this article by +Andaleeb Wajid reminded me why I too like to read young adult fiction.

It would be really cool to be Jason Bourne or Hercule Poirot, but opposed to that, characters in young adult fiction actually feel a part of you. You begin to reminisce those bitter sweet teenage memories, and for a brief moment in time, you go back to a simpler world.

Thanks Andaleeb for your wonderful books. I haven't read them all, and haven't read some of them completely, but whenever I pick them up and start reading a paragraph or two, I do go back in time.

So true for so many aspects of our lives.
A horse suddenly came galloping quickly down the road. It seemed as though the man had somewhere important to go. Another man, who was standing alongside the road, shouted, “Where are you going?” a...

I've been meaning to write, but never get down to it, so when I got the "Publish on LinkedIn" email, I thought I'd try to start writing again.

Got a lot of work ahead of me though to improve my writing.
