I feel like an outcast saying this, but I have never been much of a fan of the color blue; but you are threatening to convert me with all of these dishes! I particularly like the Asian-inspired patterns. My parents had a set of blue and white dishes that we ate on every day when I grew up. I think my mom may have gotten them as part of a grocery store promotion, so they definitely were not valuable. But they do evoke some warm memories for me. Your tablescape is lovely, and the hydrangeas certainly top it off nicely. I also really love the flatware!

As usual, you have set an absolutely lovely table here.  It is reminiscent of a darling, romantic French café.  But, oh my goodness, that setting!  And the chandelier!  You have outdone yourself this time, my friend :)

What an interesting plant!  I had not seen one before.  I find it so unusual the way it grows side to side as opposed to outward.  I must say that I do love that sassafras as well.  And I've been a fan of Japanese maple ever since we had one at our last house, years ago.  The color on both of those is really pretty.  I loved learning about your weeping cedar Atlas today :)

Imagine my delight when I opened this beautiful package from my dear blogging friend, +Rita C.! The lavender smells heavenly, and there is a lovely sachet, which makes this a truly special surprise! I am so grateful to have become a part of this amazing blogging network of gracious women 💕

Your landscaping always amazes me, Rita.  It's as pretty as some of the botanical gardens I have been to.  I must say that the iris are always a favorite of mine, but your white azaleas and lavender are making me swoon as well.  Do you sell any of the lavender?  The bunches are lovely :)  I am green with envy over your gardens (see what I did there, haha?)

Oh, Rita, it's just beautiful! It's light and bright and so spa-like. I really like what you did with the vanity lighting, and that soaking tub has me feeling so envious! You are going to love using this gorgeous bathroom every day!

What a fabulous mix of color and pattern! That shade of green is just gorgeous, and I'm not sure I would have had the creativity necessary to put this beautiful combo together. Of course, everything looks better with black and white, in my book ;) Funny tidbit, also: my hubby likes to call Rhododendrons, "Rhoda Morgensterns" (which probably totally dates us, haha!) Great post and tablescape, Rita!

Oh, those pastoral pieces are so charming! I really think you've found the perfect technique or surviving a remodel, Rita, haha. Shopping makes everything better! And you looked darling in that Jackie O suit!

It looks just beautiful, Rita! You definitely achieved your design goals, and I can see why you are pleased with the outcome. I had not seen black stainless steel appliances before. Those are gorgeous. And the pendant lights and quartz you selected are so pretty, too. Enjoy your newly updated kitchen - you deserve it after all of the decision-making and inconveniences!

Wowza!  That is absolutely stunning!  Of course, emerald green is one of my very favorite colors.  But that paint gives it such a rich, deep tone.  I would have a hard time parting with that beauty, too.
