Colombiana is really good, but then I'm biased as it's a film Luc Besson has had his hands on as the writer.

Really good movies I've seen, but they're not new are Source Code, Cowboys and Aliens, Limitless, but not the second Ghost Rider. Not nearly as good as the first.

Mission Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol is excellent as is Let me In, if you're looking for a bit of horror.

Oldboy was fun. There's also quite a few of Bergman's films that are good (Hour of the Wolf, Passion of Anna, and Persona).

I liked Oldboy.
Added a few more to my list, thank you thank you.

Someone just told me Primal Fear was good, but you've probably already seen it.........

My kids watches nothing but comedy standup. We're all stocked up here.

+Stacie Moore I read the book :D

Do you have HBO? If not... True Blood, Game of Thrones.  You'll have to wait for Newsroom though... damn good series.

I'd recommend the 2006 Korean monster movie "The Host"

With a limited American release starting March 11, 2007, The Host garnered very positive reviews, with a 92% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. In addition, it was ranked one of the top films of 2007 on Metacritic with a score of 85. Manohla Dargis of The New York Times wrote "The Host is a loopy, feverishly imaginative genre hybrid about the demons that haunt us from without and within." The filmmaker Quentin Tarantino included it in his list of top 20 films released since 1992 (the year he became a director).

Great movie that not enough people have seen.

If you liked Korean films like "Old Boy", I would recommend anything by director/writer Ki-Duk Kim. Start with "3-Iron" and "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring", and then work your way forward.

Also recommend "Memories of Murder" by Joon-ho Bong, same who made "The Host". It's an atypical police procedural in that the cops are totally incompetent, sort of an anti-CSI, which is totally hilarious until you remind yourself that it's based on a true story!

+Darque Wing I don't do superheros in my films or my comics. It's so very rare. Can't get into it. Kinda like comedy, I will watch (maybe) 1 new comedy movie a year. I just really don't enjoy them.

+Rarian Rakista one of my favorites :)

+Lynne Dykins yes. we have HBO, Cinemax, Starz, The Movie Channel... we subscribe to Netflix, buy movies, rent them.... we are kinda film whores. I stopped watching True Blood last season - officially lost interest. My husband and daughters continue watching only because they've read the books, but they say it is a real struggle.
I couldn't sit through Game of Thrones, when it first aired there were so many period pieces going on at the same time, it was damn near overload. So now we watch none of them. I don't do well with series that are still going on, I can never remember to watch on a due date.

+Rob Bush thank you. more please?

+Jake White yay!! thank you thank you.
