Does anyone interview guests remotely on their podcast and send them a microphone and ask them to record their end of the interview? If so I'd be interested to hear how you manage this process and also what microphone you'd recommend. I am editing a podcast that will be launching in October and we have had some issues with guests (who are professionals in their field) who are just using earbuds to record their end of the Skype conversation, resulting in a fairly low quality recording.

For me teaching is first and foremost an art or craft and only secondarily a vocation and profession. I agree with a number of people who have posted that we are all teachers (or educators) in our lives. When I see students share knowledge with each other they are 'teaching' but perhaps not in the 'professional' sense. I like the idea of teaching as a process of guiding or facilitating lifelong and connected learning. #OCL4ed
