Not exactly like the real thing.

Nevertheless, as someone brought up in Abbots Bromley, I approve!

Sheer, unadulterated, shimmering pop genius.

Anyone who doesn't get this needs their bumps felt.

Beautiful, tender, funny, stunningly written and acted. Cilla, The Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers were the soundtrack to my early years.

I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a baby.

Godspeed.

Genus is a tired and weary word.

Not in Crosby's case.

I saw this clip when it was first broadcast. OGWT often used these old cartoon montages.

Presenter is "whispering" Bob Harris.

At school I once made a stick out of a simple piece of wood. I also composed my first symphony when I was 3. Eat that, Mozart.

I had my first legal pint in the Coopers more years ago than I care to admit, while working a summer job at the Bovril factory off Shobnall Road. A wonderful pub, I'm so pleased to hear the old girl's still going strong.

Magnificent. Not to be missed. An unpretentious, high quality seafood and game-based menu, with excellent service and a sensational cellar.

Wonderful spot to pick up a few local delicacies on the way to the ferry at Stranraer or Cairnryan. Highly recommended.

In a street full of overpriced restaurants that fall short of the mark, Quadrucci is a gem: clean, modern decor, friendly, helpful service and an unpretentious, high quality menu. One thing though: Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce in the bloody maries, please. "Molho inglês" just doesn't cut it.
