Pie-Pacifique is a refugee from Rwanda as well as the Chair of the Advisory Council to JRS Southern Africa, and he has a fascinating tale to tell. He lost his father at the very young age of nine years old in 1989, and following the horrific genocide in Rwanda, he lost his only brother as a teenager. Today, Pie-Pacifique is a successful, content man, with an infectious smile.

Listen to his interview on the JRS half an hour radio slot on Radio Veritas.

With International Women’s Way coming up, this is a great news to share: for the first time, half of the enrolments to the Community Health course in Dzaleka refugee camp are young ‪#‎women‬!

Since 2010, JRS along with Jesuit Commons: Higher Education at the Margins (JC:HEM), has been offering tertiary education for refugees in Dzaleka refugee camp in Malawi.
