I'm in!
What’s this image about, Julie? It is a Moments in May 2015 Challenge. Based on the day’s prompt — for those who participate — the challenge will create a permanent record of one’s May 2015. Why’d you create this challenge? My new love is Instagram. If you do a search of #challenge on Instagram, you’ll get a million posts. Most of them are fitness challenges, but earlier in the year, I came across a daily snapshot #challenge by @kirsty108innes an...

Oh my! I LOVE them! As a writer, I struggle with some of the same stuff. How can I tell a story that reads well and is not contrived. Does it have to have a message or can it just be a story? Ugh! But in these pieces, which seeing them online only does them partial justice I'm sure - I see and felt dimensions in every one of them. And in their names. In the colors you chose. And in the combinations I love your dames!
The first six floral dames. Each roughly 10"x10" watercolor on board. A wonderful perk of meeting your husband in art school is being able to talk art together. When that conversation turns toward your own work, it gets extra...

Love what these ladies did to turn their friend's day around and what they received in return. This is why women rock.

This came at just the right time!
Whenever I hear friends exclaim their love for writing, I think I'm in the wrong crowd. Yet, am I? I've written throughout my career because it was part of my job responsibilities. When others plagiarized my work, I considered it as affirmation and would say, “I'm glad they liked it.” ...

Story
Tagline
Writing my heart onto the page, one word at a time.
Introduction
I'm an author first, although I love my work as a social media consultant. I started writing before I could read when I'd cut the words out of my mom's magazines and tape them on blank pages, pretending they were my own. Then, I traced them, before learning to write them for myself.

I have several books in print and am enjoying the e-book revolution both as an author and reader.

I live with my husband, Jon, on 35 acres in Minnesota between Pine Island and Rochester. One of my favorite things to do is ride our  land on our John Deere Gator with our dogs, Sophie & Tucker.

Although we don't have children of our own, we love our nieces, nephews, and the children of our friends.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ, who first loved me.
