3D printers are at a bit of a crossroads – after a lot of initial promise, they seem to have hit a roadblock between early adopter zeal and general consumer..

I watched the first 45 minutes of it. We've done studies where we have basically put a person in a box and measured how much energy is going into it and how much comes out, along with a bunch of variations on that theme. If there were energy expended that couldn't be accounted for by normal means it would have shown up in those experiments. I've had their tech support out more than several times. The internet is slow during peak hours. They won't fix the bottlenecks. Neither my wife or I can do anything about their next to useless technical support ticketing system. Nearly nothing gets communicated to the subcontracted technicians who come out to your house completely unprepared to handle your trouble ticket. Be careful then, because sometimes the technicians will just close the ticket, send it back to Mediacom and they close it. Worst even yet, is when they start wanting to charge you for technician visits. Avoid this company if you can.
