I grew up in Indiana and North Carolina before a short stint in college for computer science and graphic design. I was too busy working for the university in the PR department to do my homework. I joined the Army, deployed to the Triangle of Death in Iraq with the 101st Airborne as a Cavalry Scout in 2005-2006, and got out in 2007. I married my high school sweetheart. We moved to Phoenix where I went to school for audio engineering at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. After finishing school, I worked as tour production manager for a company called CIY. We produced two-day, high-energy events with live music, art, stunts, and more.
After a couple of nation-wide tours there, I left to put more time into freelance audio engineering and music producing. In Indiana, I opened a small recording studio and produced regional artists as well as various live events and outdoor concerts.
Currently I am freelancing as an audio engineer and music producer (with the occasional side gig that integrates technology and creativity.) In addition to this I am passionate about veterans issues and study philosophy.
