Is there a Discord server set up for Cortex, by any chance? And if not, would that be something anyone is interested in?

I've already asked this on the Cypher Unlimited Discord, but we all drew a blank.

Are there any guidelines, possibly in the Cypher System Rulebook, for creating new foci out of whole cloth, rather than just customizing or modifying existing ones?

Question regarding recovery rolls:

Is using your first recovery roll actually an "action" in combat? In my current game, one of the characters has been debilitated, but the fight is still ongoing. On his next turn, could he make a recovery roll?

My Google-fu is weak tonight, so I was hoping the community might be able to help me track this down.

I seem to remember an entry in one of the rulebooks (the Cypher System Rulebook, I think, but it may have been in Numenera or the strange) where it talked about characters with special abilities being trained in their use (stepping back the difficulty associated with using them). But I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks in advance.

I'm looking to start up a play-by-post game on a Discord chat server, but I'm having a hard time finding a dice bot that will roll Fate dice. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance. :)

I've noticed that the MWP site has drastically reduced its Cortex Plus offerings. Did I miss an announcement?

Are there any guidelines or rules I'm missing for players using an action to create assets? I've checked through the Cypher System Rulebook multiple times, and I haven't been able to find anything clearly stated about them.

(For reference, I'm thinking about them in the way that Fate Core and Cortex Plus uses this kind of concept.)

For anyone running Cypher through online play-by-post, how do you keep track of where people are during a fight scene?

I'll jump on this. :) I'd love to have a hard copy to go along with my PDF.

I'd been searching a long time for a system that really fit my playstyle, and Cypher System is really hitting the spot.
