Midwest Headshot and Architectural Photographer...
Introduction

Hi, I'm a Midwest headshot and architectural photographer in Indianapolis, and I work with small and midsize businesses, as well as architects, construction firms, interior designers, and home remodelers to fulfill their vision. I work in the Indianapolis, Chicago, Louisville and Cincinnati markets and throughout the Midwest. I'm also an event photographer for corporate events and speaking engagements. I love shooting street photography and landscapes as well.

...Grammar nut, student of Budo Taijutsu, vocalist and musician.

I also do a series of "phonography" - high quality architectural and landscape photography from my phone - which can be purchased and framed: http://joshhumble.imagekind.com/.

This studio is great. Plenty of studio spaces, good and consistent lighting gear, and reasonable rates. The owner, Matthew, is very helpful as well.

I've been a student at this school for many years, and the expertise and experience of the instructors is among the best in the art. Their care for the students in helping them achieve their goals is gold.

I'm a photographer, and I went to this store frequently for refreshments after long shoots. My experience had generally been good; however, I recently went in after a very long day, and was stopped by the store's security who requested I leave my camera bag full of expensive gear by the door and they could watch it. No one in their right mind would do that - especially for a bottle of water. I fully believe in loss prevention and store security, but this policy needs to be re-evaluated. There are other ways to deal with this. Would someone carrying a purse be asked the same thing? I left without shopping and won't be back, especially considering there's a competitor just across the street. I don't have time for that kind of inconvenience.

First, the good part. PF offers a very clean facility, ample equipment and a friendly staff at a low cost. However, one thing has ruined it for me. No one goes to the gym to be harassed, constantly startled, or to have their workouts interrupted frequently. The lunk alarm always disturbed me, and while it's a part of a policy that claims to reduce obnoxious, loud behavior from members, the alarm accomplishes the opposite. It's far louder and more obnoxious than most any member could be. I'm DONE with this place after last Friday, which was a circus at 86th St. I was right under the alarm, which went off loud and hard three times, and I wasn't the offender or the one slamming weights. When I said something to the staff, they said they're sorry, but that's the way it is. If PF wants to have this "no lunking" policy, that's fine, they can make their expectations clear, then politely talk to the offending member as they already claim to do while bypassing the hype non-sense alarm. No point in scaring their members and constantly disturbing their workouts with a ridiculous alarm.
