“It is the strong leading trend and nobody can resist the charming of iPAD. The effect on iPAD is over-whelming in the human history.”

Proview, the Chinese company locked in a trademark dispute with Apple over use of the iPad name in China, has released images of an "iPAD" computer it says it has been producing since 1998. More on the iPAD here: http://t.co/lsTmynle

Reading this I realize how much China's English-language state-run media have improved since 2006. I also realize how much I miss the old English-language state-run media. Genius. Just genius.

If you're looking for some humor I highly recommend this gem from a CCTV of days past, describing in words the uniqueness of 10 hot female stars in China. Many hilarious lines in there, including my favorite (describing one of the ten most beautiful women in China, according to the government media company...):

❝Huang Shengyi has a horse face... When she smiles, she is fatally attractive.❞

Personally, my vote goes to the "Five Scattered Houses."

China's Wang Shu has won the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highest honor. Below is a photo of the Ningbo History Museum, designed by Wang. See more photos of his work here: http://on.wsj.com/Auf0o5

The best YouTube comment I've seen so far this year:

"No matter how good you get at something, no matter how hard you try, there's always an asian out there that's better than you."

“It was humiliating and ludicrous to have to wear a straight face and explain all my jokes to the detectives,” said Mr. Park, who could face up to seven years in jail if convicted.

One of my favorite China memes...

Have You Bought Your Ticket for the Ark? People across China have embraced the notion of an apocalypse in 2012. Why? If you can identify the image below, you have part of the answer: http://t.co/j7XasFDp
