Chicken Provencal Recipe / #ChickenProvencal #Recipe #YaDaChef #ChefForHire #FreelanceChef #GlutenFree

Rich flavours and a hearty sauce will make everyone think you have been cooking for hours. Bone in chicken has more flavor and is the classic way to make this dish, but feel free to use a boneless piece.

Serves 4

2 pounds/900g chicken leg quarters
1 teaspoon/5ml sea salt
1/2 teaspoon/2ml black pepper
1/3 cup/90ml olive oil
1/2 cup/125 dry white wine
2 medium onions chopped
1 clove garlic minced
8 ounces/225g baby bella mushrooms sliced
1/2 cup/125ml pureed tomatoes
2 tablespoons/30ml chopped parsley

Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat.  Thoroughly wash and pat dry the chicken and season with salt and pepper liberally on all sides.  Brown chicken 4-5 minutes on both sides.  Reduce the heat to medium and add 1/4 cup of the wine.  Cook chicken for 10-12 minutes.  Add the onion and garlic, and 1/2 of the parsley cook for 5 minutes.  Add the mushrooms and tomatoes.  Cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is tender.  Remove the chicken to a serving platter and add remaining 1/4 cup of wine.  Blend well and cook for 4-5 minutes.  Add parsley and pour sauce over chicken.

Serve with browned potatoes and green beans.

Chef Da make the BEST Sloppy Joes from this recipe +Bryan Daniel

Today is National Sloppy Joe Day. This is a super easy and quick dinner or lunch idea. Besides being a one pot meal, it is a great meal to have children cook - or at least help. ‪#‎YaDaChef‬ ‪#‎SloppyJoe‬ ‪#‎Recipe‬ ‪#‎QuickDinner‬ ‪#‎QuickMeal‬ ‪#‎EasyDinner‬ ‪#‎Cooking‬

YaDa Chef's Super Sloppy Joe Recipe

Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey or beef
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 16-ounce can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon sugar *optional
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt (or regular salt with 3 smashed and diced fresh garlic)

Directions:

Cook the meat in a medium skillet. Halfway through cooking add the tomato paste.

Drain the fat from the cooked meat is you choose.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well.

Bring mixture to a boil then reduce to a simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes - the longer it simmers the better the result.

Serve over your favorite crust bun or bread - preferably toasted.

I could use some help from my web designer friends.  I am trying to create a logo in photoshop with a picture as the first layer and a solid colour layer over it.  I want to write on the solid colour layer and have the photo layer revealed in the lettering.  What search words do I use to get help?  I give free advice on all things culinary all the time (and NO it's not just food it's years of work, trial and error and much money spent on an education).  Thank you in advance for the help. +Roberto Tucci  Lo sai?

the one on the right is classic and much more subtle.  I think we'll go with that one, just a bit of garnish
