Talking points are usually popular. I haven't come across any major sources that raise the same issues in the same way I did. I prefer principled arguments to talking points.
The Obama admin is notorious about spying. Haven't you followed the news? The Snowden revelations have been particularly damning. Banning torture is a good start, but a minimal improvement over Bush's policies. We increasingly live with fewer and fewer civil liberties, and the Patriot Act continues to be upheld and enforced.
And what meaningful reforms has Obama brought to Wall Street? I am not aware of any. Obama knows he is supported by some of the wealthiest business execs and bankers, and has no intention of serious reform.
Entitlements are the same disaster as always. Instead of doing the responsible thing and reforming them, Obama pulled a Bush and added another unsustainable entitlement.
The only significant difference between Obama and Bush is that Obama changed his views on gay marriage and prefers to slaughter terrorists through drone strikes rather than boots on the ground.
