So we all know a little about Ness's father... Even if it's just knowing he can save your game. But i'd like to share with y'all what I think about him and hear your thoughts. Starting with what is told to us in the game: Ness's Dad never seems to be home and he only ever talks to Ness via phone. We are also told that he borrowed a LOT of money from the Minchs for one reason or another. While this isn't too strange on its own, as it gives Aloysius a reason to be mad at Ness and his family, it makes me wonder what could be going on behind the scenes. Giving this takes place in the 90's it's a bit odd for a middle aged (my guess, he could be younger) father to not be home with his family at least some time. Not to mention he just lets Ness go out on this crazy adventure without even trying to stop him and pays Ness for the number of enemies he beats which he logically couldn't know about. While all those things could relate to just poor parenting I think Ness's Dad is a lot better than he seems. HERE IS WHERE MY THEORY COMES IN! What if Ness's Dad worked for some kind of organization based around the study of the supernatural (PSI, Aliens, Ghosts, etc.) and knew of Ness's Powers long before Ness even really knew them himself. This would give explaining as to why he lets Ness go on this journey in the first place and is away from home all the time! But I don't think i'll stop there. What if he was able to keep a "Big-Brother" government-esque eye on his son as he traveled. As any good father he'd probably want to watch over his boy and this'd also explain why he is able to pay Ness and "allowance" according to what he's done... I'm going to go one step further... What about that "Fuzzy Pickles" guy? He seems pretty strange... No i'm not at all saying he's Ness's Dad. Ha ha ha. But he could be related to this whole thing and be a part of Ness's Dad's watchful eye. He always seems to pop up when something big has just happened and takes a picture of Ness and Co. Could he be doing this to help Ness's Dad know his son and son's friends are okay? It's silly, I know, but food for thought nonetheless. Let me know what you guys think below!
