The ceiling of one of the rooms in New York City library. I couldn't capture the true grandeur of the place. Hopefully this gives you a hint.

I would like to personally thank the NYPD for making my trip to New York safe and pleasant.  I took my wife for her birthday to see this great American city and the NYPD made her first visit a wonderful experience.  They were the perfect ambassadors.  THANK YOU NYPD!!!!!!

+Cedric McCay and friends.  +Cedric McCay brought up a good point through an article about skin color.   Skin color has long been the primary method of control and manipulation leaving us divided and angry.  Its origin is fear with a response to that fear manifesting itself as racism. Like so many of us from all colors I have been a victim of racism from ALL colors including my own (didn't reflect the proper attitude through ebonics).  Moreover, I am acutely aware of the constraints placed on me because of my color. Those constraints generally mean that I have to work harder and have more credentials then my counterparts who aren't as dark as I am. It can be frustrating.  It isn't fair but it exists and I look for the opportunities from it. As an experienced project manager I naturally seek the core of the problem and look to solve it.  The obvious answer to racism and the perceptions of skin color is knowledge and bravery.  I suggest you look at the documentary in the following link.  It may change your perspective.  If you are willing, I would like to host a hang out to discuss it.

This shows the scale of the 911 memorial. If all I saw in New York was this memorial, I would have been satisfied.

Laughs! We, too, had a WONDERFUL reception by the NYPD! Amazing. I suppose they could tell we were tourists and lost... +Joseph Parker PMP I did send a note to the department about one, in particular. He really helped us out. We ended up in Staten Island instead of Harlem!

That library staff treated us well, also. I could have spent every day there!
