DANG IT!  I just bought the DP-006 LAST Saturday!  Oh, well.  Mine is better suited for recording electric guitar, since it has 1/4" inputs.  This one has XLR inputs with phantom power, so it is better for mics.  I do wish  mine had the built-in effects, though.

Lonesome Luau
I recorded this song one year ago.  It is kind of a surf rock / blues instrumental.  This song got its humble beginning as just a couple of layers on my Ditto Looper pedal (the Strat rhythm track and volume swells you can just make out in the background).  I liked it, so I recorded it onto my computer and added the tremolo Strat lead.  Then I decided to add the Les Paul lead (it comes it around 1:20).  I didn't use all of the Les Paul lead.  Instead, I faded it in where it seemed to work and faded it out where it didn't.  It was a bit awkward in the beginning, but I was really starting to feel it towards the end.  I've written well over 30 songs since then, but this remains one of my personal favorites.

All the guitar parts were recorded through the USB connection of a Fender Mustang III amp - except for the rhythm track, which was recorded direct out of the looper into a Behringer USB mixer.

I've had a DP-004 for a couple of years, if it wasn't working so good I would consider getting one of these!

I love this rendition!
But I can't hear this song without thinking of "Mr Bean" trying to sing it without a hymnal.

The Falcon 9 rocket, with the Dragon spacecraft on top, has been loaded with its complement of flight propellants. Countdown is progressing smoothly today and there are no technical concerns with the rocket and spacecraft. The weather remains 40 percent “go” but is improving.

An on-time liftoff this afternoon means the Dragon spacecraft will catch up to the station Sunday, April 20. The Dragon will be grappled at approximately 7:14 a.m. by Expedition 39 Commander Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. He will be assisted in a backup position by NASA Flight Engineer Rick Mastracchio. The Dragon will be attached to the Earth-facing port of the station's Harmony node and will remain in place approximately one month. It is scheduled to return to Earth for a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Baja California May 18.

Live NASA TV coverage of the launch is underway at: http://www.nasa.gov/ntv.
