THE GIBSON MEMORY CABLE™
The cable’s built-in, super-compact recorder (designed by TASCAM, the undisputed leader in portable recording) saves up to 13 hours of your playing to commonly available, inexpensive Micro SD cards. And with CD-quality 44.1kHz/16-bit resolution, the audio quality is ideal for transferring over to computer-based, multitrack recording programs.

Heartbleed - an original instrumental
This chord progression was so sad, I thought this title was appropriate.  The lead was an improvisation with a rhythm loop on my Ditto Looper, so there are a couple of rough spots.

The recording was made by plugging the looper pedal into one of the 1/4" inputs on my TASCAM DP-006 Pocketstudio and plugging my Mustang III amp's effects out jack into the other 1/4" input.  Then it was just a matter of pressing record, starting the looper and improvising a lead.  I imported the two tracks into Adobe Audition for the final mix.

Ovation Breadwinners
Here are a couple Ovation Breadwinner solid body electrics I used to own. I originally had the blue one, which was a very early and more rare version.  It sounded better, too.  Even the case was the cardboard type because they didn't have the molded hard-shell cases in the proper shape at that time.  I got the tan one after swapping the blue one for it.  I also got a big Kaman amp as part of the deal.  I don't remember if any cash changed hands.  After playing the tan one for a few years, I decided I didn't like its sound.  I bought my current Gibson Gary Moore signature Les Paul (seen on my profile) and sold the tan Breadwinner on ebay.

Yeah, so the +SoundCloud  G+ sharing widget is broken today.  I'm reposting from an earlier post.

Introduction
Had over 1400 followers on here at one time.  Then Google merged the G+ and YouTube streams and I deleted everything to clear it out.  I'm afraid things will never be the same.

Since all my circles got deleted, if you follow me and I'm not following you, send me a message and I'll circle you back.

I stay busy by writing and recording music in my spare time (over 30 songs in 2013).
