+Becca Hillburn is testing out an at-home convention setup where she's streaming working on art commissions. She'll be working on commissions for the afternoon. Below is her table setup cam and this is her behind the table cam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV6fyALUWq0

Tomorrow is the last day to submit for our artist scholarship, National Art and Trade Tuition Opportunity scholarship. We have less entries than expected, so there's still plenty of chance to earn that $1000.

I interviewed 4 awesome kid-friendly independent comic artists at #a2caf this year. They had some great industry advice, some fun art, and were just a blast to hang out with at the con.

#A2CAF was a ton of fun. I got 4 interviews this year from a variety of different creators. I'm hoping next year to ask permission from parents so I can interview some of the younger creators. There were a ton of eager kids there, and a few teenagers who I directed to the NATTO scholarship. There's only 10 days left, so if you're off to or returning to college to study art, please apply.

I've been using Feedreaders for around 15 years, so when +Becca Hillburn told me webcomic fans are moving back to RSS readers I was pretty enthused. She wrote a blog post about it to introduce new readers back to the great, simple protocol.

It's good to hear progress is being made on this research, but without a clear culprit, I can't imagine much will be done in the near future. Godspeed bees.

Un plays some great games and has a low-key, humorous take on let's plays which I think is shared among all the early-comers. He was kind enough to promote my and Becca's comic art scholarship this episode of Tokyo Jungle. Check it and the scholarship out (http://nattosoup.com/scholarship), and if you haven't yet, please spread the word.

Dave is coming up on the end of a 25 to 30 hour video game marathon benefitting the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation. Check in for a bit if you're a gamer or want to use your dollars to help people with mental illness.

+Becca Hillburn and I thought this might help to spread the word about our sequential art scholarship. It's not informative, but all the actual deets are in the blog post at http://nattosoup.com/scholarship.

I set up a small scholarship fund (on behalf of +Becca Hillburn) called the National Art & Trade Tuition Opportunity. It's for any artist interested in sequential art (#comics, #animation, #storyboards) who wants to study art in #college (undergrad or grad).

You can apply if you have an online portfolio before July 1st, and should expect to hear back sometime in July. You don't need to be the best to win, so if you're on the fence about submitting, please do and help spread the word if you have any artists in your life. College is too expensive, so here's hoping I can help an artist not go into too much debt.
