Cuernavaca, México is a city with heavy jazz tradition. With the spirit of legends like Charles Mingus and Gil Evans lying on its streets, it is no surprise that jazz in this city remains as a locals favorite.

Las Galletas de Mr. Esqueleto (The cookies of Mr. Skeleton) is a local jazz band with strong Gypsy Jazz influences, which has just released a video clip for its song "Ella" (She). Hope you like the song and also support the band with its future releases.

Enjoy!

BLogiclub Approach to John Coltrane's tune, 'Giant Steps'. This really fresh mix proves that Coltrane's compositions go beyond what we may expect.

The Helen Sung Quartet performing the Thelonious Monk standard, "Bye-Ya". Sung has always expressed her admiration to Monk's work and legacy. A great tune with a really fresh approach.

This new Google Plus interface still a little bit buggy. Doesn't allow me to upload a YouTube video correctly. Sorry for the inconvenients.

By far, my favorite bar in Cuernavaca. It captures the essence of the part of the city which I identify myself the most. I always have a great time in this place, either alone or with friends. Excellent prices and also great music taste.
