I was born in Mérida, a city in the Andes Mountains of Venezuela, where I studied graphic design at the University of the Andes (VE). After completing my studies, I moved to Caracas to work in an advertising agency (JWT) as an art director.

I later moved to the city of Buenos Aires, where I completed a post-graduate certificate in Typeface Design at the University of Buenos Aires (AR). I have been working in that city since 2009, first in a graphic production studio (Pool cp), then in an animation studio (Gizmo) and then in a design studio (Fontana Diseño).  I currently live in Monterey, California.  

As for typeface design, I have collaborated with TypeTogether, Sudtipos and Omnibus Type on expanding character maps and production fonts task; I have participated in Biennials and competitions.

I practice Pa-Kua and I like to eat and to laugh.
