Today we celebrate our independence, the very independence so many take for granted. Enjoy it while it last. Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Tonight, at 23:59:59 on June 30, a leap second will be added to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Instead of the clock rolling around to 00:00:00 on July 1 as per usual, the time will actually jump to 23:59:60 before finally ending up in July a second later. The previous leap second, which was inserted in June 2012, caused a number of high-profile technological issues, and it's likely that the leap tonight will cause some problems as well.
Due to the Earth's slowing rotation, we have to pause the clocks for a second.

Awesome!

I remember you saying you were only interested in my whole heart & that’s exactly what I wanted to give even if it might take a few years to gather up all the pieces from the last time I tried this whole heart thing. ~storypeople

Like any other operating system, GNU #Linux has implemented a memory management efficiently and even more than that. But if any process is eating away your memory and you want to clear it, Linux provides a way to flush or clear ram cache.
Like any other operating system, GNU/Linux has implemented a memory management to clear RAM cache manually, whenever a process is eating away your memory.

Baked Grouper with a Mango Salad

Yesterday, a friend stopped by and gave me a few slices of a large grouper.  So, for lunch I baked a couple of those slices, steamed some green bananas and made a tasty mango salad with a mango from my tree.

I would like to dedicate this dish to +Moncivaiz Monica , +Carmen Mandich and +Ann Lilchand.  Wish you ladies were here! :)

Introduction
Born in La Cieba, Honduras raised in New Orleans . US Army Veteran, Tech and Information Junkie, Linux and Android Enthusiast.

"Normal is a cycle in the wash" - An old Army Unit Motto, that has fit my life to the letter. I live and think outside the proverbial box .

"Friends are those that tell you the things you don't want to hear!"

I'm very picky about who I label a friend, this is why I have few friends, but love the ones I have.

The people that stick around long enough to get to know me for who I am. End up with a friend for life, that'll be there through thick and thin.

I enjoy Photography and have learned so much from the awesome photography community here on G+.

Have to say, this Deli is one of the best in this area. Prompt service considering its small size and popularity and friendly staff. You must try the Gyros, IMO the best in town.
