The first edition released in the US has a shiny – and therefore very hard to capture/scan – holographic finish. The European release of the English version features an IMHO better looking logo as well as a different cover art; not sure which one I like better though.
For the localized version - well, only box and manuals had been translated due to the guy having been hired for the job bailed on and disappeared with the money before the assigned work was really started – the German one is a dull copy of the US one while the French got the better looking logo and a darker version of the original box art.
All boxes are of course available over at bigboxcollection.com too.
* Jup, there's still the big box version of the "Interactive Preview" out there to catch, but it's highly unlikely that I get my hands on one of those.
