Legit beer bar in Oakland, reminds me a lot of Hamilton's in my hometown of San Diego. The selection is great, with a varied and rare taplist. Also a good selection of bottles. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The beer snob in me wishes they'd use proper (and cleaner) glassware. They gave me props for being from SD when I complemented them on the 4 Alpine growlers on the bar. Also wish they served food! Would have liked to stay longer, but after throwing a few back I needed some soakage.

After throwing a few back at Beer Revolution, we needed some foooooooood and this place was amazing. Great quality food, friendly staff, and good beer selection. I'll definitely return next time in Oakland.

Fill your growlers, do a tasting flight, pick up some rare bottles. What more could you want?

Already a SD classic and a must-stop on any brewery tour. Hopefully you'll get lucky and be there on a day when they have one of their specials like the Vietnamese Coffee Speedway on tap!

It's a bit of a trek from SD proper, but worth it for sure. Just make sure you have a designated driver! The beer is of course amazing, and the food was surprisingly good. Bring your growler for a fill and take some of this goodness home with you.

Every time I've been, it's been delicious. And the best ceviche I've ever had in my life was from the Sea Rocket booth at the North Park Festival of Arts a couple years ago. Great beer here too.

Best brewpub/beer bar in SD. Make sure you grab an Automatic growler and get it filled before you leave.
