The new show is up!
“The maggots were coming out all over. I tried to remove them. But her skin just peeled right off.” In the year 1945, the Japanese city of Hiroshima became a household word. And not because of anything its people had done. No, the event Hiroshima is remembered for is something that gives us a chill even today. That’s because when I say the word ‘Hiroshima’ you can’t help but see an image of a mushroom cloud. Premium Show The Premium Show takes us...

Once the excitement of being a Mars One colonist wears off, the realities may start to set in. Being part of the Mars One colony is not only extremely dangerous, it is a recipe for insanity. Here are the top 10 reasons why you should consider not going to Mars: 1. High Risk Travel Space travel is high risk. During the launch, you will be strapped on top of a massive rocket that could explode. During the flight, you could smash into space debris. ...

If you're looking for a piano teacher, I highly recommend Michael Drislane at VCM. He's incredibly talented, fun, and hand crafts lessons to fit the individual. We are lucky to have him on the island!

I would like to warn you against joining VI Fitness. I believe their busienss model is based on snaring customers into complex contracts and then showing complete implacability when it comes to customer service afterwards. I will tell you what happened to me and let you be the judge. I got a new job which had a gym. However, I still had 6 months remaining on my contract (Shelbourne location). I phoned and asked if I could transfer my membership to my wife. The manager told me I could not. She cited the contract saying unless I had a medical reason, I was locked in. She then told me, "It's not our fault you don't use your membership." I did not provoke this young woman to snap at me like this and was completely surprised by how rude she was. I imagine she has dealt with people asking for similar requests in the past and in my case became defensive out of habit. But that's not all. As if following a script, the the girl then tried to sell me promotional products to get my wife on a contract. I thought that pretty audacious considering how rude she had just been to me. Good companies will find ways to accommodate their customers through the vicissitudes of life. They will show flexibility and will find ways to serve both the company and its clients. My experience with VI Fitness was quite the opposite. They proved inflexible, rude and concerned only with squeezing more out of me. Although I will finish paying the money I owe, my wife and I will not return to this gym and we will strongly encourage our friends and family to stay clear of it. I regret this experience and don't wish it on anyone. Good customer service is a pleasure. Bad customer service is an awful thing.
