I still have dreams about meeting Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Wishing her an incredible 92nd birthday today. What an incredible legacy, and vibrant spirit. To take the throne at such a young age, and stay up to date with this ever changing world and the role monarchy within it. It's a life long honor to be an advisor with my business partner of #BradfordSwain in her only legacy trust, set to empower the lives of young people around the world.

It still amazes me how energetic she is, making sure to meet face to face with everyone at the private gathering for the pre-launch of The Queens Commonwealth Trust at Buckingham Palace back in October. To take the the throne so young and to provide an excellent example of what determined youth with a vision can achieve is beyond inspiring.

I really love this city of #Istanbul in Turkey. It's so underated and incredibly vibrant. Part of it is in Asia and part of it is in Europe. My business partner and I are here for Global Entrepreneurship Congress #GEC18IST, which has brought international delegates from over 180 countries around the world together at the same venue to discuss pushing entrepreneurship forward faster. My mind is buzzing with many talks and sessions with Chief executives from some of the world's largest companies. #Entrepreneur #Socent #BetheChange

We are so honoured to let you all know that yesterday we attended a special launch of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust at Buckingham Palace. The new charity, which has just named Prince Harry as its President, will provide support to young people across the Commonwealth who are setting up their own projects and businesses which change the world. It's a platform for changemakers and inspiring young people.

We're also proud that we have been advisors to the charity for the past year championing YOU, young people across the world who need this and will be continuing in this role as the charity launches. You can find out more on BBC1 & BBC2 next Saturday as part of the Queen's Birthday Celebrations.

Turning 27 today. Thanks to my family, friends, colleagues and supporters all around the world. Grateful that ever since I was young I've expressed myself through style, through arts and through entreprenurship. Own your story. Create your future. #SwainGlobal #Africanism #Wakanda

Less than a week ago, this was my office overlooking a volcano in #Bali. It's a blessing being able to operate a business and brands from anywhere there is WiFi. #DigitalNomad #BradfordSwainWorldTour

Of course #BradfordSwain would arrive to #Bali on most traiditional time of their year, which is their New Year. It's going to be exciting to partake in this traditional custom, making it out 3rd New Year celebration of 2018.

Tomorrow is Nyepi, The Day of Silence. The entire Island of Bali will dormant. Not a single body is allowed to go outside, use electricity, watch anything, or make noise for 24 hours. For the #Balinese #Nyepi is a spiritual effort to seek freedom from any wordliness. Ultimately, the Hindu believers spend their entire day in meditation, focusing their minds to the inner spirit abd the environment as a whole.

It is believed that after the Day of Silence, evil spirits will see the entire island as abandoned and leave it alone for the year, until the next Nyepi.

This evening was a very festive carnival called Ngerupuk which is the eve of Nyepi day. This carinval started at 6pm and was a huge parade of Ogoh-ogoh, forms of mythological beings, mostly evil spirits. As with many creative endeavours based on Balinese Hinduism, the creation of Ogoh-ogoh represents spiritual aims inspired by Hindu philosophy

Ogoh-ogoh is considered a symbol of modes of nature that form the malicious characters of living beings. Each village usually build one Ogoh-ogoh mainly built by each village's Seka Truna Truni, Balinese village's youth organization, but often some smaller ogoh-ogoh also built by groups of children around the village. Some artist also usually build one. After being paraded on a convoy around the town, finally it is burnt to ashes in a cemetery as a symbol of self-purification.

It's humbling to experience other cultures, their beliefs and ancient customs. It's also humbling to see so many traditional and religious groups here in #Indonesia living amongst each other in tolerance and understanding.
