Still my favourite spot...

Of all the amazing spots along the Great Ocean Road, Wye River has to be my favourite. Awesome little cafe, a great pub overlooking the break and sometimes decent surf on a beautiful little beach. Add in a sunrise like this with the pup and you can't get much better! #australia   #greatoceanroad   #seascapephotography

Coal is terrible.

Whilst the majority of us are worried about our APPA scores, maybe we should focus that worry on the future of this planet. This is an image I shot of the Leigh Creek coal mine. It is about to be shut down.
In the mean time our government with Greg Hunt the minister for the coal industry, I mean environment has approved the largest coal mine the world has ever seen. It is good to see Turnbull has stepped up and fit perfectly into Abbotts shoes.
You bunch of WANKERS
Share this photo where ever you can, tell your friends, tell your politicians, it just isn't good enough.
Coal is not good for humanity!!!!

Is it just me, or does this A-frame in the Alaskan wild win the prize for best backyard?

Night on Earth - Olympic National Park, Washington
From the wild rugged Pacific Coast of Washington States Olympic National Park.

The Milky Way can be seen from between two massive sea stacks, timed perfectly in September of 2014.

We camped here for two nights until I finally figured out the best time to capture this scene. Around 4AM ish late in the summer is the only time of year it will all line up while the sky is dark enough to shoot.

Learn how to capture shots like this using my Free Milky Way & Star Photography Tutorials linked below:

Enjoy,
Dave

We went searching for the Milky Way but all we found was this Moonrise, not a bad substitute. 🌛

Introduction
I'm a designer and photographer living in Melbourne, Australia who's always wandering. I appreciate pretty much all types of photography, but find myself leaning towards the natural and built landscape for my personal work That said, you'll often find me aimlessly wandering on a hilltop, DSLR and Iphone in hand, seeing what can inspire me.

Friendly service but terrible organisation skills in the outdoor section, first being told to wait one hour wait for a table, sitting down and then being told there is a one hour wait on food! They then send our sides out a clear 40 minutes before the rest of the food.

Cannot fault this guy, friendly service, lets you know exactly what is done during service or maintenance, everything you would expect from a true professional. Recommended.

OK coffee, but is that really enough in this area? After going for a run and stopping for a coffee with my dog, I asked the staff if they could provide a bowl of tap water for a heavily panting pooch, the guy looked at me weird, mumbled something into his milk jug and said no. He then offered to sell me a bottle of water. Pathetic Oscar Mike.

Some of the worse service I have ever experienced. Avoid unless you feel like being abused.
