1. If your twitter account is linked to your Google profile it will pull your tweets into Buzz but not G+, at least not yet.
2. Even public buzz posts will not post to G+.
Something else to consider about posting is that the privacy settings are not yet configured properly, I figure they will fix it before leaving beta. But you must remember if you are sharing something with a limited number of people and want it to stay that way you have to post it then click the little light grey (almost invisible) down arrow on the top right of the post and disable reshare. Failure to do so means that someone else can reshare your post with anyone, even public. Which defeats the whole point of limiting your share initially.
While you are reading this and thinking about privacy, have you gone to your Google profile and adjusted the privacy settings for everything there to your liking? Make sure that gets done.
