"Einstein once famously said that the definition of insanity is repeating the same action multiple times and expecting different results.

Sadly, that’s what some of City’s approach play felt like for stretches of Saturday’s game as time and again the ball was hammered in low across the face of goal only to be turned away at the near post."
Group therapy or flagrant masochism? You decide! Here’s six conclusions/talking points/things we learned (delete as applicable) from our 3-1 defeat to Leicester City.

Absolutely disgraceful and got what we deserved which is beaten. Wtf is going on at city? Can see it all falling to bits over the next few games. We won't win anything with that defence and kompany can't do it all on his own even when he is fit. Change is needed in summer after what is looking like another failure? All the good work at Sunderland undone today. After watching city since 1967 why am I never surprised 🤔😏

Well done to Kun, now celebrate with a hat-rick tomorrow.. thanks!
Sergio Agüero has been named as Premier League player of the month for January after scoring five goals and providing an assist for Manchester City, with Southampton’s Ronald Koeman winning the manager of the month award

Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini, speaking to BBC Sport: "No complaints. Leicester played better than us. Conceding a goal from a set piece after two minutes was very important for the game.

"We had chances but it was a difficult game. I expect more from time from the beginning because it was very important, we are at home and playing top of the table, but we couldn;t do it.

"We have a lot of things coming like the Champions League so we must take this experience.

"There are 36 points to play for, nothing is finished. It is important for us to recover our players and I am continuing not giving up because we got an unexpected defeat but we must continue."

Also if we aren't going to win the league, I'd like the Foxes to beat Arsenal next week and pull away. Much rather them than Arsenal or Spurs.
