I've been working on creating a free YouTube series, teaching beginners how to make a Tetris clone. Each video has a corresponding blog post. I'm teaching in the style of Ben Tristem, offering slides and mini-challenges along the way.

If you've been looking to learn how to code, I hope you'll give it a try. I'd eventually like to create my own Udemy course :)

If you're a complete beginner and have no idea where to even start learning to make games, this free Pong clone tutorial series on YouTube is a good place. Get started with C# and Unity, taught for beginners.

Just getting started as a game dev?

Hi everyone, I'm currently developing a free YouTube series to help anyone who wants to learn game development get started. It's geared towards 100% beginners who have never coded before.

I'm not sure if this will be useful for anyone in this community (maybe it will) but if you know anyone who wants to get started with C# and Unity, this tutorial series will be perfect for them.

A month and a half ago I started learning C# programming by taking some Udemy classes. Yesterday, I decided to start a new YouTube channel aimed at helping beginners (like myself) learn C#.

I know it might seem odd for a beginner to start creating tutorials... but I think, what better time is there? Not only does teaching what I've learned help me solidify the information, but I might be able to explain it in a way that's unique and makes sense to other beginners. Sometimes when you become really good at something, you take for granted concepts that beginners might actually struggle with.

I'm aware this community is probably filled with people much more experienced than myself, which is why I want to ask for your feedback. If you have time to watch one of my videos, could you tell me if you think my style is helpful? Could it possibly be useful for other beginners? I'm aiming to explain things in as easy to understand a way as possible.

I value any feedback you might have to offer :).

For anyone who knows me, you might know I'm an insanely huge VR enthusiast. I picked up the Gear VR Innovator Edition last July and have been exploring all its possibilities since then.

I've just finished putting together an article on the Gear VR and my overall impressions so far. The technology is primitive as heck... and it still rocks.

Do you have a Gear VR? Are you thinking of getting one? Want to know what all the fuss is about? Have you been one of the people I've shown this headset to? I'd love to hear what you think! Leave me a comment on this status or on the post itself with your thoughts.
