Down East Magazine called this 1870s Mansard #tinyhouse a "Vest Pocket Victorian." Seated on an eighth-acre lot in Round Pond, Maine, it was purchased by its current owners in 1972 for $4,000.

Anyone seen this Elliott Smith documentary, "Heaven Adores You"? Too bad it wasn't at this year's Montclair Film Festival, or I might have had a chance to see it. There's a request form on the docu site to have it screened at your local theater.

I am a freak for the American road trip. And I'm not alone, as some of this country's best writers have taken a shot at describing that quintessentially...

Modern Powerwash did a great job at a fair price. The owner performed the work himself, professionally and on time, and returned my phone calls promptly. Not only that, he rewashed the shady side of my garage free of charge a couple years later when he power washed my neighbor's house. That's good customer service.
