I have been going to these guys for a couple of years (since they used to be Precision Tune -- now they're called Complete Car Care, but seem to have the same folks, and in the same location), and have put several thousand dollars of work there into my cars. Last week, when I picked up my car after they repaired a broken cable in the passenger seat that was preventing the seat from reclining, I noticed that the SRS (supplemental restraint system) light was on, and asked for an explanation. They first claimed the light had been on when it arrived, which was not true. Then they claimed the light came on completely independently of the repair -- that a service interval on the SRS had elapsed -- and that only the dealer could reset things. The real cause, as I learned in less than a minute after a single google search, was that the SRS system detects a fault if the car is turned on when the seat is not yet plugged in -- as it clearly was when they removed the seat. And resetting SRS faults are dealer-only repairs. What bugged me most was that rather than trying to solve or explain the problem they had caused, they came up with two clearly false excuses (i.e., they lied) to evade responsibility. I can only fix the problem they caused, at my expense, by going to the dealer. After having paid for the work at Complete Car Care. As I say, I had been a good customer of theirs. Not anymore.
