I think we are well advised to keep on nodding terms with the people we used to be, whether we find them attractive company or not. Otherwise they turn up unannounced and surprise us, come hammering on the mind’s door at 4 a.m. of a bad night and demand to know who deserted them, who betrayed them, who is going to make amends.
Jonah P. Langenbeck is an autodidact living within the beautiful and heartbreaking urban system of post-K New Orleans. His work is rooted in the meta field of design. He is currently in charge of all things Interactive at the National WWII Museum. He was formerly a partner in Annunciation Interactive, a little design + technology studio in the heart of the Faubourg Tremé, something he still takes a great deal of pride in.
