"Failure" is Google's business model
But, here's the shocker, Google loves failure.

"The culture of failure, makes perfect sense and is something we already practice in engineering and in life."
Amazon is a failure That's right. If you followed the binary kindergarten logic of some Apple sycophants around the blogs and around the Verge forums, Amazon, one of the most successful online...

Hate to say that I have to respectfully disagree with the removal of the Flag and Statues.

I have to admit that I am a Caucasian and live in the the southern most part of Louisiana.

I do however, feel that that article is extremely one sided and does not take into account the culture of the south in regards to its history of Racism and the Confederacy.

Speaking as someone who admires both historical significance of both flags, I know that both have a flawed history.   And it is those histories that need to be cherished and taught to our children.   It is just that people are using a terrible thing to justify other terrible things.   I am a huge follower of the belief that "Those who do not remember the mistakes of the Past are doomed to repeat them."

Removing a flag and other Icons of the South will not erase what happened, but they must come down, please start by removing the name of KKK member, Leader, and Congressman Byrd from all Hospitals, Schools, Airports, Parks, and Highways.    As well as any other democratic congressman and senator that was in office from 1960 - 1980 as they are the ones responsible for fighting Civil Rights, also is Ironic that Democrats are the ones that profited most off of Slavery.

I need to add that I hate impulsive decisions of any kind. I find that they are more often than not, reactions to an event or other external stimulus.  This causes poor decisions and reeks of insincerity.   If those in charge really felt the cure for what causes racial conflict in this country was getting rid of Flag and Statues of People like Robert E Lee, then they would have began the work of removing them years ago.

No sane person can condone what happened in Charleston, and it seems to me that by rushing to decisions to "MAKE" things right Roof's attempt to propagate hatred is succeeding.

I also disagree with the pay differences between blacks and whites, but that is for another day, I have blabbed on too much already.

Sorry, if this reads as disconnected thoughts.  It is hard to convey feelings on something like this as a man/father who teaches his children that people are equal and responsible for their own actions while they are being told by the President and News Organizations that because they are White that they have must have some ingrained racism.
