Whats the point of having an SD card to compensate for small phone storage when NOTHING seems able to use the SD Card (Spotify, Google Play movies).... Last time I fall for this concept.  Next phone needs decent storage levels :-(

(Oh I know Spotify is MEANT to download to the SD card but it doesn't ...and I know I'm not the only one with this issue.)

shouldn't the facebook one be "here's a picture of my baby eating a donut"??

"I'm a Google employee who eats donuts"....maybe needs a little updating.

Why drive a pink VW Beetle when you can drive a steam engine?

Fun afternoon at the Raceway in Greenwich.  Karting is great but I'm sure a few extra pounds is a disadvantage from a performance point of view.  The track had great facilities including displays of famous drivers helmets and overalls....

A few photos taken this morning at the Bluebell Railway, Sussex, UK.
I only had my 50mm lens with me so it took some footwork to frame things (and a little cropping!)

We did the 5 mile circular walk between Chartwell and Emmets and stopped for lunch at the Fox and Hounds. It was a quiet Wednesday lunchtime. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. I had the Pork Tenderloin with "Bubble and Squeak" (potatoes and cabbage!) with apple sauce and gravy. It was cooked excellently (pork is hard to not overcook) and very tasty. It is made clear that all the food is sourced locally and cooked fresh (no re-heating previously cooked food). This may make service slower but, unless you are in a rush, the quality makes it worth the wait. We found the service quick but the pub wasn't full. Apparently the menu has just changed and we were guinea-pigs...a definite thumbs up.

Popped in for lunch and absolutely loved it. It is such an original English pub. It is an interesting building with little nooks and crannies. The furniture is squeezed in and there is no uniformity. They sell local beer (Harvey's) and there are 4 or 5 hand pumps at the bar, together with a barrel for a special beer of the moment. We ordered Sausage and Mash and Chicken, Leek and Bacon Pie. The food filled the plate. Again, nothing pretentious but just good, fresh, food. The pie came with peas, cauliflower and carrots. All prepared and cooked in the kitchen - nothing factory sliced or frozen here. The staff were friendly and there was a lot of banter with local regulars at the bar. A range of the day's papers were available and, next to us, an old man sat, reading a paper, eating his lunch with his dog at his feet. This is a great example of an quintessential English pub. I hope it doesn't get too successful or it may change!!

Very average fish and chips. If you expect the brand name to signify quality you will be disappointed.

I must admit I'm not a Chinese food aficionado, I am much more likely to eat Italian or Indian, but a group of us went to Wing Wah a couple of weeks ago. Firstly, the staff are excellent. The main waiter is very friendly (he has been at the restaurant for years) and literally runs around to give diners the best service possible. The menu is extensive and has more choice than I needed...making choosing difficult! The crispy duck made for a great hands-on shared starter. A half duck was plenty for 8. Mains and side vegetable dishes were good. I had huge quantities of fresh ginger with my beef dish. Fantastic!! The red wine was decent, as was the bottled beer. Don't go expecting great deserts so fill up on the mains...!! We left satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the food having spent about £20 per head.
