A Chinese company wants to build the tallest building in the world in 90 days. They demonstrated they can build a 30 story building in 15 days. The building is constructed of modules built in a factory then assembled on site. It seems to me unlikely that construction methods scale linearly and that a 220 story building would pose some unique challanges unfaced by a smaller building. How do they insure a secure and firm foundation sufficient for a 220 story building when the cement wont even cure in that time? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_City_(Changsha)
65% of Las Vegas casino revenue is from non-gambling activities. Gambling has contributed less than half of all revenue for the last 15 years. However, its margin is probably higher than many of the other sources of revenue. This is the fifth year in a row that the casinos have reported net losses.
