Have you looked at the GT-5 yet ?  Looks like a UV-82 and a GT-3 mated and this is their genius offspring.

Hi gang,

New to the forum, from Bowen Mountain (NSW, Australia).

Just flashed my C7 with the latest Seabios, and am presently installing Linux Lite 2.2 (Ubuntu/Debian derivative) and apart from the trackpad now working when I boot off the USB key, I've only found one niggle.

When you power on to install Linux, if you go to the boot menu it doesn't show the USB key - you have to warm boot for that to show up. Not a big problem, just thought I'd mention it.

BTW, what's the "payload" boot option ?

This bullshit has to stop and stop NOW - 2 blocks from my office.

If you know someone affected by the ABC budget cuts, encourage them to list their skills on LoveYourAunty - my one-woman attempt to make something good out of something terrible. Pass it on!
Love Your Aunty is a simple jobs board for ABC staff affected by the 2014 budget cuts and restructuring. Need a great media mind? You'll find one here.

I don't know anyone who's affected, but I'll forward this anyway. After all, those of us who DO get ABC are paying a high price to make the programs unavailable to some.

Never have I had to deal with such an arrogant and insensitive group of people. My SGS3 died with a known problem, and all I wanted to do is book it in for warranty repair. Nobody else at the "service" counter and they wanted me to make an appointment to have the phone "looked at" - no "looking at" required, known problem. Just wanted it repaired. Expected me to come back in 3 hours to have it accepted for repair. Worst customer service EVER.

We are regulars here and have been for a number of years,. Great coffee, great food and reasonably priced. Lollies available the old-fashioned way - by weight. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the menu needs to change occasionally, and they need to have a couple of pasta dished on it. I highly recommend the Chicken Ceaser Salad - so damn big I can't finish it. Also their cakes are to die for.

Purchased a new Mazda3 SP25 today and Boyd, Jenny and Leon gave first class service - no "hard sell", no pressure and definitely no pressure to "add on". We take delivery next week and so far they have been excellent.

Second best coffee in Sydney CBD (after mine). Friendly Baristas, reasonably quick service, even during peak times. Open from 7:30am for those of us silly enough to be at work that early. Focaccia is excellent value.
