Nerd. Genius mediocrity, or is that mediocre genius. I like to flatten things onto photographs. Love music: jazz, classical. An IT guy.
I love fine art: photography, painting, sculpture. Edward Burtynsky, Andreas Gursky, Ellsworth Kelly, Rothko, Richard Sera
As for my own photographs I consider most of them landscapes, even though many are semi-abstract and usually represent a very narrow geographical location. I see them as expressive of something I've seen or an emotional connection to the landscape and in their microcosm they comprise a component of the overall landscape which can be arrived at in aggregate in a way that cannot through a traditional wide landscape shot.
I love music especially jazz piano and "classical" violin.
Jazz: Brad Mehldau, Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock,
Bill Evans, Chick Corea. John Coltrane, Miles Davis
Violin: Hilary Hahn, Joshua Bell, Maxim Vengerov, Julia Fischer
