SUNSHINE IN A JAR GREEN SMOOTHIE

Try this Fully Raw Pineapple Orange Collard/Spinach #Smoothie as an ultimate fuel source! This recipe is a natural sunshine in a jar that feeds your body real energy!

INGREDIENTS

• 1 Cup Spinach, Fresh

• 1 Cup Collard Greens, Fresh

• 3-4 Navel Oranges, Fresh Squeezed

• 1/2 A Pineapple (about 3-4 Cups)

INSTRUCTIONS

Freshly squeeze the oranges and use the juice to blend with the spinach and collard greens. Chop a fresh pineapple and add to blender. If you want this recipe cold, add 6-8 ice cubes or serve over ice.

The fruits help provide your body with the simple sugars aka simple carbohydrates that are easily absorbed and digested. While the orange and pineapple provide the body with Vitamins C, A, E, and K, the greens provide a nice balance of minerals and even proteins to allow the body to function at it's optimum!

Heroes Reborn 2015

One of the greatest #SciFi shows ever is coming back to NBC in 2015!

I was a huge Heroes fan and was really upset when the show got cancelled. Any other Heroes fans out there excited about this?

Nothing better than spending time at one of the oldest Major League Baseball stadiums! Even on a chilly day, baseball at Wrigley is a magical experience. On our recent trip, we saw a win, a wedding, a proposal, and an ejection! Talk about baseball! Hot dogs, beer, peanuts, the other fans, the bleachers! Wrigleyville. How can we not mention Wrigleyville. Parking was fairly easy. We arrive roughly 90 minutes before the game after driving from Iowa. Found parking nearby for $20. Bout a 10 minute walk north of the stadium. Easy to find our seats. Concessions were great, accept credit cards, as most do these days. Didn't see any vegetarian options other than some "veggie" option at the hot dog stand - so other stadiums I've been to have more options for those who are herbivores. All in all, Wrigley Field is a great experience any time of the year. But it's always good when the W is flying afterwards!

Perfect dinner after an afternoon Cubs game. Immediate seating for 2. Great wine and craft beer. We had the Frutta salad for an appetizer to share, and was great. My wife had asparagus ravioli which was delish! I had the Tutta pizza, half size, and that was also amazing. For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse cake and an Americano. Service was top-notch. Justyne was terrific!
