Apple's strict security delaying HomeKit devices

Over a year ago, Apple announced HomeKit, its system for connecting smart devices through iOS. As such, you'd think that by now the market would be flooded with HomeKit-approved smart devices.

I have to say, when I've used ios devices I'm more inclined to listen to podcasts, mainly because of the convenience of iTunes.
It is only fitting that the podcast owes part of its name to the Apple iPod, precursor to the iPhone. A recent survey by Clammr suggests that despite have a slightly smaller user base, iOS, and iPhone in particular, is thrashing Android in the area of mobile podcast listening.

This is a fairly new hotel, so the building and grounds are in great shape. Upon check in we were offered our choice of floors, so we opted for ground level. Room was great, nice high ceilings, all the amenities (fridge, micro, coffee, etc). Breakfast offered a decent amount of choices. Neighborhood is very close to lots of dining options and shopping. Pool area was clean, and hot tub was nice to relax in after a long drive. If I'm ever back in the W-B area I'll definitely be staying here.

We stayed here because my kids wanted to relive my childhood - I had stayed here 29 years ago with my parents when I was a kid. There's probably better hotel choices in the area, although it's not necessarily a bad hotel. My biggest negative was having to pay for parking when I'm already paying for a room. The pool area is very nice for the kids - has an indoor and outdoor pool that you can go back and forth. Kids enjoyed the waterslide. Very close to all the tourist sites, but not too loud at night. If I was going back to the Niagara area, I would book this again if the price was significantly lower than other hotels.

Can I give less than one star? Stay away. Horrible dump. I half expected to run into a movie crew filming a horror movie or an episode of COPS. Hallways reeked, no hot water in the shower (only warm)(and that only lasted 3 minutes) Upon check-in we found out that we were given a room with one bed and a pull out couch. We were supposed to have 2 beds. The manager told us we were lucky to have a room. I booked this in advance against my better judgment. Should have trusted my gut feeling. Don't waste your money.

Taking waaaay too long for our food, considering all the empty tables in here. You would think on a slow Sunday night there would be better service. Bathroom was horrible, walked in, took one look, and walked out. First and last time eating here.

We booked this location because it was close to the state park launch for the statue of liberty cruises. We wanted to be close and not have to fight loads of traffic in the morning. It's not a bad hotel, it was a place to put our heads for the night. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, but we didn't feel unsafe. There arent a whole lot of local dining option outside of fast food, and the hotel restaurant is a bit overpriced. If I wasn't going to the Statue first thing in the morning, I probably wouldn't see a need to book this location again.

Just passing through Philly visiting the sites, and asked Google for "best cheesesteaks in Philadelphia". Being from Chicago we needed to be able to say we partook in local fare. Sonny's was one of the first on the list of search results, and since it was a short walk from the visitor center we decided to give it a try. Definitely "old school" grill, cheesesteaks were delicious. Some reviews say they are pricey, but IMO not much more than you'd pay for a foot long at a national chain sub shop. Here you're supporting local community small businesses and to me that's important. Food is good, be warned seating is limited but we didn't have to wait too long. If I'm back in Philly I'll definitely be stopping by again.

(June 2014) For the first time in 8 visits, the restaurant was disappointing. Apparently there was a new kitchen manager and several menu items had been removed, no appetizers, and when we went in for breakfast one morning we were told that they were out of 4 of the 5 items on the menu.
