If your looking for a traditional pub that is a bit battered with a mishmash of different table and chairs then Langtry's is for you. I love the eccentricity of the place but above all it serves good beer, wine and food. Pound for pound it serves the best Fish chips and mushy peas around. To round all this off I have always had great service from the people behind the bar

If you like Italian then this is well worth going to. From entering to the simple layout and décor to the smile faces of the waiters, it has charm in bucket loads. The most difficult decision was what to choose from the menu. The food appears to be cooked to order as it takes a little longer to arrive but is always hot and wonderful and I wouldn't have it any other way. I will be gracing its doors soon again I hope.

There are 2 things restaurants must have good food and good service. Lincoln Tapas has both in bucketfuls. All the food was cooked to perfection in fact, the lamb was beautiful. I found some of the sauces a little spicy for my taste but this did not detract from how good it was. The service was friendly and efficient with staffs that care about you and your needs. The only shock we had was how small the bill was at the end. The icing on the cake was the tables in the window where you can look out on the world or People watch whatever your fancy is. They even had the Red Arrows fly over with the red white blue don't know how they did that! This was a wonderful way to spend the last 21/2 hours in Lincoln before leaving, but we will be back the next time we visit

Loved the layout and decor but what shone through was the people. Both the waiters for their smiling faces and pleasant manner, to the Chef and kitchen staff for their delightful food, even though it came from the pre theatre menu. This now on my list must go to places whatever the occasion
