Over the weekend, I DEVOURED +John Scalzi's Redshirts. Now, I have the wonderful problem of getting my review of it for +Geeky Pleasures out of my head, so that I can move on and give 2 copies of it away, courtesy of Tor.

Right now, all my brain is doing is screaming, "PEOPLE! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK. RIDICULOUS TECHNOBABBLE. THE NARRATIVE. THE BOX. A CRAZY PARADOX. A SHUTTLE GOING INTO A REVERSE FIBONACCI SPIRAL! YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK WHEN IT IS RELEASED NEXT WEEK!!!"

This is a good problem to have: loving a book so much you don't think any words could do it justice. Instead you just want to grab people and shake them while exclaiming, "JOHN SCALZI'S BRAIN IS A WONDERFUL PLACE. READ THE BOOK, DAMN IT!"

John, this is probably the wrong venue (he says, carrying on), but is there any move towards global releases? Hearing press for books shortly to be released in the US is either expensive or crazy-inducing for those of us in Blighty. It is possible to have to much anticipation!

BTW, I'm sure Google would translate "reverse Fibonacci spiral" as "going down the drain" if I could figure out what language to set.

I can't wait to give you my money. WHY CANT I GIVE IT TO YOU NOW?!

I got to meet Larry Niven this past weekend at Comicpalooza in Houston, Texas. Next week, I get to meet John Scalzi. My life is complete.

Can't wait to get my hands on it!
+John Scalzi, you already getting a wee bit light-headed with all this praise you receive? ;)

Don't worry, it's gotten at least a couple of negative reviews, too.

You mean I should cancel my pre-order? - Damn!! And I was so looking forward to reading it! ;)

I can't seem to find any mention of a audio edition. Will there be one? When? And will it include +Wil Wheaton? Having a hard time waiting over here ;)

Yes, there will be an audio version, and yes, Wil is narrating.
